Ensure safe potable water is dispensed through your Zurn Elkay 375 and 375XL reduced pressure principle backflow assembly with this nylon air gap adapter fitting. To provide the cleanest possible water, there can be no cross-contamination within your plumbing system. If there is a backflow, then contaminants from that wastewater can compromise your potable water. This nylon air gap adapter fitting prevents discharged water from reentering the supply line.
This adapter fitting can be used on either vertical or horizontal installations. It designed specifically for use with Zurn Elkay 375 and 375XL back flow assembly. The body of the unit is made of nylon for long-lasting durability. The outlet pipe size is 2″ iron pipe size slip. An air gap is a necessary component for installing a drain line, and it can be used with any standard piping material.
