This Zurn Elkay 55996C in-line strainer is a direct replacement for the one that came standard with Zurn Elkay water coolers, bottle fillers, and drinking fountains. This essential component collects and traps sediment that could damage the valve or other parts of your drinking fountain. It also prevents the water flow from being blocked. This unit has a 3/8″ inlet and a 1/4″ outlet. If your original in-line strainer is broken or malfunctioning, replace it immediately to continue operation of your drinking fountain.
