This Sloan BASYS 3324258 polished chrome battery powered deck mounted mid body double sensor faucet is a great way to bring the convenience and safety of hands-free operation to your restroom! The polished chrome finish complements nearly any design aesthetic, lending a subtle, modern accent to your sink. It features a 1.5 GPM aerated or laminar spray device, which creates a comfortable flow pattern. Having the option to choose a spray design is particularly important, as you can either incorporate air into the water, saving you money on your water bills, or reduce the introduction of airborne germs into the water supply.
For energy efficiency, the double infrared sensors have a self-adjustable range from 0″, a sensor range of 0″, and come set with a default timeout of 10 seconds. By using a sensor, you eliminate the faucet handle, which is a key contact point for germs to spread. This helps to make your business safer and more sanitary for guests and employees alike! As for the faucet, it installs on a single mounting hole and a flexible, high pressure supply hose connects the faucet to the water supply.
This diecast metal unit comes with the necessary mounting hardware and (4) “AA” alkaline batteries, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. These batteries provide up to 3 years of life, giving you plenty of time before a changeout is needed. To keep you informed about any potential maintenance, the faucet includes above deck diagnostic indicators for battery life, solenoid condition, and power-up mode, so you can stay on top of repairs before they’re needed.
Adding to this faucet’s unmatched composition, it boasts a bi-stable magnetic solenoid valve for increased energy savings, a “line purge” mode to remove stagnant water, a removable carrier for the solenoid valve that closes the water supply when removed, and a vandal-resistant spray insert. A below deck thermostatic mixing valve is also included.
