If you want to take your restroom’s water closet from manual to hands-free, the Sloan 3325501 Optima flush sensor retrofit kit is a simple, effective solution! This convenient kit makes it possible to convert your existing restroom fixture into a sensor-operated one, without replacing the entire flush valve. Simply remove the old handle and install the retrofit kit in its place! The kit’s dual flush design uses a full 1.6 gallon flush if a user is present for more than one minute to effectively eliminate solid waste and paper. To help conserve water, a reduced 1.1 gallon flush initiates when the user is present for less than one minute to eliminate liquid and paper waste.
The sensor assembly comes with a versatile chrome-plated finish that complements nearly any design aesthetic, lending a subtle, modern accent to water closets. It uses 4 “C” alkaline batteries (included), which can provide up to 3 years of battery life before needing changed out. Flashing LED lights inform you when the batteries are low and when the user is within view of the sensor, while a 3 second flush delay is included for added convenience. If you need to use a manual flush due to low batteries, the retrofit kit has that covered too with a flush button on the side.
