This Sloan 3315114BT Optima Bluetooth battery powered deck mounted sensor faucet is a great way to bring the convenience and safety of hands-free operation to your restroom! It features a polished chrome finish that complements nearly any design aesthetic, lending a subtle, modern accent to any sink. With a 4/12″ long spout with a 0.5 gpm multi-laminar spray device, this faucet creates a comfortable flow pattern without aerating the water stream. This design is particularly important in applications where contamination is a concern, since a typical aerator can introduce airborne germs into the water supply.
The infrared sensor comes set with a default timeout of 30 seconds, but the Bluetooth connectivity feature allows you to customize your operation settings, including sensor activation distance, automated line flushes to keep faucets clean, and on-demand timeout settings. Use the diagnostics results to fix problems as they happen and to get detailed reports on your faucets. By using an infrared sensor, you eliminate the faucet handle, which is a key contact point for germs to spread. This helps to make your business safer and more sanitary for guests and employees alike!
The faucet installs on a single mounting hole, with a 4″ trim plate to blend it into the sink deck and to cover up any unused holes from an old faucet. A back-check tee is also included to help prevent backflow while mixing incoming hot and cold water to the desired temperature. This unit is powered with 4 AA batteries (included). With batteries installed, it can provide up to 3 years of life, giving you plenty of time before a changeout is needed.
