Oatey Company 43904 Details

Ensure your drainage systems are operating efficiently with this Oatey 43904 4″ PVC backwater valve. Designed to prevent pumped water and sewage from flowing back into a basin, this backwater valve is ideal for protecting basements from backflow or waste from street sewers. It fits 4″ Schedule 40 PVC piping via a solvent weld connection and can accommodate access sleeves made of Schedule 40 piping. The valve hub also fits DWV piping and can be adapted for sewers or drains.
This backwater valve conveniently comes with a threaded access cap and a valve flapper. Featuring an internal elastomeric seal, the valve flapper provides a watertight seal. The access cap similarly features a neoprene seal and can be easily tightened or removed by hand.
