Featuring a 1/2″ MIP connection, this A size straight hammer arrestor reduces banging from water line vibrations and protects your plumbing fixtures from the effects of water hammer. It’s made of durable copper and installs on hot or cold water valves in any position. Plus, it doesn’t require cutting into your drywall for installation!
This hammer arrestor is constructed with a unique piston design to absorb water shock and extend the life of valves. If a valve closes suddenly, water moves into the pressurized, shock-absorbing chamber of the hammer arrestor before dissipating back into the water line. This conveniently and efficiently helps to stop the banging noises you might hear coming from your plumbing.
