Thanks to the sturdy materials and overall design, assembly and adjustment of the unit is impressively quick and easy. Each post features notches in 1″ invervels, which are for use with the included wedges that shelves slide down onto for secure placement. To best suit your ever-evolving needs, up to 900 lb. of evenly distributed weight can be safely stored. This, combined with the polymer construction, makes it ideal for hospitals, food service operations, schools, and countless other applications – wet or dry. This particular cart features open grid shelves, which allow for greater air flow and light penetration. 6″ sections of the grid even pull off, making them easy to clean, whether in the sink or in the dish machine. Because Microban® antimicrobial product protection is integrated in the grids, mold, mildew, fungus, and bacteria growth is inhibited, preventing odors and contamination issues.
For mobility purposes, a set of polyurethane stem casters are included for use. They enable you to roll the rack around the store room or other storage area when needed, or prior to cleaning.
