Its rubber overflow gasket is foamed to provide greater memory and compression. This provides a secure and reliable seal and prevents leaks. The locking drain gasket sports a softer durometer that prevents it from falling off, regardless of orientation. This significantly reduces hassle and frustration when creating a seal. The components of this kit come pre-assembled making installation simple. This rough-in kit features a solvent weld connection type. The drain spud is made with chrome plated brass. This kit includes a direct drain fitting and reusable test plugs. These test plugs are quarter-turn and require no tools for installation. They are rated for 17 PSI and 40 ft. head. The direct drain assists with overcoming jobsite obstructions when a standard sanitary tee can’t be used.
