This Zurn Elkay Z6955-XL-S-E-MV HYDRO-X electronic sensor faucet provides an excellent way to make hand-washing hands-free and more sanitary! Faucet handles are touched often and by many people, making them a potential threat for the spread of germs. This faucet dispenses water using a convergence-type infrared proximity sensor that can tell when hands or an object is placed under the spout, completely eliminating contact with the faucet and reducing the risk of cross-contamination. Additionally, the sensor comes with a 30-second timeout feature to prevent sink overflow and ensure water is being used only as needed. The faucet features a sleek and durable, chrome-plated brass body. The 6 3/4″ long gooseneck spout provides a modern look with a comfortable clearance. This faucet has an aerator outlet and a flowrate of 1.5 GPM.
This faucet comes with additional features to help tailor installation to your specific needs, like a line purge that can be set to run 12, 24, or 48 hours after the last activation. A metering mode lets you set how long the water will run on each activation, instead of allowing the faucet to run as long as hands are detected under the sensor. The faucet installs using a single inlet for a 1/2″ ball riser, and is powered by a hydro generator with a battery backup to ensure it runs when you need it. The electronics module and solenoid install beneath the countertop for a clean presentation, with easy access when you need to service the faucet. An in-line filter within the faucet body helps to ensure that the waterways remain clear and that no sediment reaches the outlet.
