Zurn Elkay XT-35 Details

Eliminate the hazards of thermal expansion with this Zurn Elkay XT-35 9 gallon thermal expansion tank. Designed for potable water applications, this tank connects between the water heater and backflow preventer or pressure reducing valve. In instances where thermal expansion can become a problem, the tank allows water to enter the chamber, which activates a diaphragm that ensures pressure remains below the valve setting.
The outer shell is made with carbon steel, and it has an epoxy finish coating for a glossy look. Temperatures of up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit are no problem for this heat-resistant tank! It can withstand a maximum pressure supply of 80 PSI. This unit is not suitable for fire sprinkler applications. This unit has a 3/4″ NPT water connection.
