This T&S EC-3107-VF05-HG deck-mounted hands-free sensor faucet is a great way to help make your restroom contact-free, improving safety and sanitation! Because it uses an electronic sensor to control the water flow, this model eliminates a key contact point for germs to spread – the faucet handles. The faucet’s electronics are housed inside a water-resistant control module, which installs out of the way below the countertop and is powered by an EC-HYDROGEN-LF hydro-generator, which uses the water flowing through the faucet to supply and store its own power. This negates the need to use an AC adapter or batteries, even in the event of a power outage. However, both an adapter and 4 AA batteries are provided for flexibility in installation. The control module can alternatively be hardwired using the terminals on the back.
The 10 15/16″ tall gooseneck spout provides an elegant design and ample space for hand-washing, while a 0.5 GPM vandal-resistant non-aerated spray device creates a gentle flow pattern without aerating the stream, which is especially important in applications where contamination is a concern. And since the outlet is vandal-resistant, it’s well-suited to high-traffic areas. It installs on a 6 1/8″ wide base, and requires 2 mounting holes on 4″ centers. An 18″ flexible stainless steel water hose and a 24″ sensor cable connect the faucet to the control module. A mixing valve with integral check valves is included to pre-mix hot and cold water to an ideal temperature for hand-washing. A pair of 18″ flexible stainless steel 3/8″ compression x 1/2″ NPSM supply hoses are included to connect it to your building’s water lines.
