This Sloan 3335152T Optima polished chrome solar powered deck mounted sensor faucet with 5 3/8″ spout and 0.35 GPM multi-laminar spray device is a great way to bring the convenience and safety of hands-free operation to your restroom! The polished chrome finish complements nearly any design aesthetic, lending a subtle, modern accent to your sink. It features a 5 3/8″ high pedestal spout with a 0.35 GPM multi-laminar spray device, which creates a comfortable flow pattern without aerating the water stream. This design is particularly important in applications where contamination is a concern, since a typical aerator can introduce airborne germs into the water supply.
The infrared sensor comes set with a default timeout of 30 seconds; by using a sensor, you eliminate the faucet handle, which is a key contact point for germs to spread. This helps to make your business safer and more sanitary for guests and employees alike!
Sloan also ensures that the production of this faucet is completely carbon neutral. It does this through carbon offsetting via partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation and combating emissions through nature-based solutions.
This faucet installs on a single mounting hole and a 13″ long flex hose connects the faucet to the water supply, which installs conveniently underneath the sink. This unit is powered by sunlight or artificial light, including LED, halogen, incandescent, and fluorescent light, saving enormous amounts of electricity. As a back-up source, it also comes with a 6 VDC lithium battery. With the battery installed, it can provide up to 3 years of life, giving you plenty of time before a changeout is needed. Additional features include a magnetic solenoid valve. A mixer is not included and, if desired, must be purchased separately.
