Help prevent shelving units from toppling over in earthquakes with this Metro SA42BC 42″ seismic sway brace end kit / back kit. This sway brace kit connects to Super Erecta shelving posts and works as an end kit for back-to-back shelving units with (2) 21″ deep units, (1) 18″ deep unit and (1) 24″ deep unit, or (1) 21″ deep unit and (1) 24″ deep unit. It can also be used as a back kit for 42″ long back-to-back or single shelving units. It can help you earn site-specific approval for seismic applications when it is used in conjunction with staked posts, seismic threaded foot plates, and seismic post clamps.
This kit includes clamps and hardware for attaching to 1″ round posts. Two end kits and one back kit are required per shelving unit. Sway braces are required for qwikSLOT and Drop Mat qwikSLOT shelving when seismic anchoring is required.
