This cartridge contains ceramic discs that form a long-lasting water tight seal. When the wrist handle of this faucet is turned, the discs spin to allow water to pass through. T&S cartridges are designed with efficiency and convenience in mind, allowing you to swap out one piece in the event of a leak, instead of replacing multiple moving parts.
