With a high output and high efficiency, this sleek heater utilizes filtered low glare Solaira S-wave emitter technology that is virtually unaffected by wind and converts over 85% of consumed energy into directional, radiant heat. Plus, this heater reaches full output in under one second! It’s perfect for heating areas of up to 143 sq. ft. and is rated IP55 weatherproof for completely exposed outdoor or indoor use. This heater works to only supply heat to objects and not open space, ensuring that people, furniture, and other objects absorb the radiant heat instead of allowing it to escape into the open.
This durable unit boasts an extruded 6061 aircraft aluminum housing with a scratch-resistant epoxy powder coat finish that can be mounted to the wall or suspended from the ceiling using the included mounting brackets. This model can also be recessed to the ceiling using the compatible flush mount trim kit (sold separately). It only emits an ultra-low light glow so that guests stay warm without being bothered by bright light or glare. This infrared heater is ideal for use on patios, balconies, terraces, and gazebos, even in windy conditions. This unit requires a 208/240V electrical connection for operation.
