This Sloan 3362102 deck mounted sensor faucet is a great way to bring the convenience and safety of hands-free operation to your restroom! It features a polished chrome finish that complements nearly any design aesthetic, lending a subtle, modern accent to any sink. It features a 4 1/2″ high curved pedestal spout with a 0.5 gpm multi-laminar spray device, which creates a comfortable flow pattern without aerating the water stream. This design is particularly important in applications where contamination is a concern, since a typical aerator can introduce airborne germs into the water supply.
The infrared sensor has an adjustable range of 4″ – 12″ and comes set with a default timeout of 30 seconds. By using a sensor, you eliminate a key contact point for germs to spread – the faucet handle. This helps to make your business safer and more sanitary for guests and employees alike! The faucet installs on a single mounting hole, with a 4″ trim plate to blend it into the sink deck and to cover up any unused holes from an old faucet. A 24″ long flex hose and 36″ long sensor cable connect the faucet to the control module, which installs conveniently underneath the sink and is powered by 4 AA batteries (included). With batteries installed, it can provide up to 2 years of life, giving you plenty of time before a changeout is needed. A filtered solenoid valve and serviceable strainer filter are also included.
It also comes with a 3/8″ tee assembly to mix the incoming hot and cold water to the desired temperature. The supply hoses for the hot and cold lines to the tee, and the hose to connect the tee to the faucet are sold separately.
