Ensure your drainage systems are operating efficiently with this Oatey Sure-Vent kit! This kit includes a one-way valve that is expertly crafted to allow air into your plumbing drainage systems when negative pressures develop within them. Designed with Sweet Spot technology, the valve automatically opens at -.01 PSI and seals at 0 PSI and above as needed. It has a 20 Branch, 8 stack DFU rating.
Great for use as a secondary vent, this air admittance valve is made with a convenient PVC Schedule 40 adapter and can handle a vent pipe of up to 2″. Incredibly reliable, the valve is also built with screening on the air inlets to guard the seal. Plus, a protective sleeve provides a secure grip for easy installation, while keeping the valve free from debris.
This kit comes complete with a wall box. This box offers recessed mounting for the air admittance valve. The grille faceplate offers protection while still allowing the necessary airflow to reach the air admittance valve. It accommodates 1 1/2″ to 2″ pipes, and it is constructed of high-impact polystyrene for long-lasting durability. It features two mounting brackets for secure installation, and it includes the necessary screws to mount the faceplate to the wall box.
